Amethyst

It is the stone of St. Valentine and faithful love, and signifies ecclesiastical dignity as the Bishop’s Stone. It carries the energy of fire and passion, creativity and spirituality, yet bears the logic of temperance and sobriety.Amethyst is very well known -- as from the ancients -- as a sobriety stone. It has been used for millenia to prevent drunkenness, and is used to assist in getting rid of addictions to alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc, and destructive compulsive behaviors of all kinds.
The name Amethyst derives from the Greek word ametusthos, meaning “not intoxicated,” and comes from an ancient legend. The wine god Bacchus, angry over an insult and determined to avenge himself decreed the first person he should meet would be devoured by his tigers. The unfortunate mortal happened to be a beautiful maiden named Amethyst on her way to worship at the shrine of Diana. As the ferocious beasts sprang, she sought the protection of the goddess and was saved by being turned into a clear, white crystal. Bacchus, regretting his cruelty, poured the juice of his grapes over the stone as an offering, giving the gem its lovely purple hue.

In the rare event that you find an imperfection or defect, we invite you to send it back to us to be inspected. If the defect is determined to have occurred during the manufacturing process, we'll replace any lost/chipped gemstone and accent diamonds or repair the item at no cost to you in the first ONE YEAR of ownership.
If your center gemstone or diamond is lost, chipped or got broken from/in the original setting after one (1) year of purchase, we will replace the gemstones at discounted price.
We gladly accept returns and exchanges. Just contact us within 7 days of delivery, and ship item back within 14 days of delivery.
